Pop (ART) Mie!! #funnyshirtedition

Okay okay, I have found a funny shirt. Well, it's not really funny, like hahaha funny, but more like a "ohmygod!“ kind of funny and I can't believe that it does exist. The best part is, I happened to found it by accident. I LOVE THIS SHIRT!!!

Okay, I need to calm down.

*inhale*
*exhale*

So here it is!!

It's a Pop Mie T-Shirt!! Oh my sweet candy, it's a freaking Pop Mie T-Shirt! Hahaha. Indonesians must know this brand by heart as it most of the times gives us a lot of help during those days before paycheck, you know days when your money isn't enough to buy real food so you buy this instead. Right? Right?

I found this shirt by accident.

I was walking around in Glorietta 5 (one of many malls here in Makati), and I stopped by at UNIQLO, I didn't even have the intention to buy anything, I just wanted to window shopping hahaha. But then there was I, walking in the aisle when my eyes caught something. I noticed something I know very well. I thought I saw something else, then I grabbed it to make sure and there it was, a Pop Mie T-Shirt!

I was ecstatic like a little kid who found a treasure.

Not only Pop Mie, there were also Kacang Dua Kelinci, and Ultra Milk. But I like the Pop Mie's design, it's fun. I mean, it's pop art so it doesn't look too much like I'm trying to advertise the product.

On the shelf, not only Indonesian brands, there were also other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Philippines. I like the USA brands' design. They were really cool. I hope I took the pic of those so that I can share it here.

So as a proud Indonesian, I had to buy the shirt. Not necessarily though, but I just had to. It's like reminding me of home (?). Another funny part, they put a brief description about the brand. Ha!

also the price

As I said before, I had no intention to buy anything, but the nationalism in me was boiling hot, so I rushed to the cashier and too late to realize the price was quite expensive for a t-shirt as it was being scanned. That time was like a week before my next paycheck. So yeah, I was short on money department. But I don't regret a thing.

I even showed it off to my fellow Indonesian coworker, Nate, though it's been three years since the last time he visit Indonesia. But he knows Indomie and Pop Mie of course.

Me: *walks towards the pantry, passing the MS team desks*
Nate: *eyes glued to the monitor*
Me: *stopped in front of his desk* Ka, ka, liat deh. *pointing my shirt*
Nate: apaan?
Me: gue nemu baju Pop Mie *still pointing at the shirt*
Nate: eh nemu dimana?
Me: di UNIQLO hahaha
Nate: serius UNIQLO?
Me: iya seriusan hahaha
Nate: hahah ada aja gituan di UNIQLO

Because I love the shirt so much, I wore that twice in a week to office. Hahahaha.

Well, this has been half an hour unproductive time because you're wasting it for reading some stupid blog which babbling about a t-shirt. Hm I'm gonna stop here so you guys can go out and be productive, like trying to solve the enigma of this universe, or trying to help world's poor, or other incredible things.

Now go, go, shooo! The show's over.
