When the clock stroke 12 midnight yesterday, it marked the day in which this creature you know so well was brought into the world exactly 25 years ago. She felt grateful that she still got the chance to live this long and hoping to live for another year and years after that.
As she gets older, she doesn't feel the necessity to celebrate her birthday anymore because, for her, it's getting less and less enjoyable. Instead, she chose to look back to the previous year. Reflecting on everything that has happened, what could be improved on herself, and should there be a celebration, she would choose to just eat out with her closest people.
Now she's entering the age where everything is a lot more confusing and way too complicated, plus few responsibilities that she will carry on from now. Not to mention those expectations people put on this particular age are getting ridiculous.
But as crazy as life is now, she is very much happy that she has amazing people surrounding her. She wouldn't be where she is now if it's not because of their supports. And for that, she is forever grateful to have them in her life.
Lastly, she would like to say thank you for all the birthday wishes you all sent to her, the same wishes for you too.
Sincerely,
She, who is now a quarter of a century years old.
