Does life always have to be this complicated? Didn’t we once live a much simpler life?
Everything feels just so intricate these days.
Back then, we embraced the unknown feelings in our chest, that quiet ache, or a sudden burst of butterflies. Now, there’s a word for everything.
There’s always something to do, somewhere to be. We spread our days so thin, let the time slip through, and become something in the past instead of something we treasure.
Are we truly meant to live this way?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everything were simpler?
A world where we can lie in the ever-so-green field underneath the yellow sun, letting the grass bend and taste our skin, breathing in clean air as it travels quietly through our blood.
But instead, we sat in front of the glaring screen under the fluorescent lights for hours, eroding pieces of our souls bit by bit, for the sake to live another day, only to wake up and do it all over again.
