So the last exercise was to find an article about Connectors (actually it's not very different from Conjunctions) and describe about it. I chose to describe about the function of Even though, which is one of Subordinating Conjunction. Even though is to establishes the relationship between the dependent clause and the rest of the sentence. It also turns the clause into something that depends on the rest of the sentence for its meaning, in this case is to show the contrast between sentences. Here I'll give you some examples:
- Rain starts to falling down even though the sun is shining
- They always find something to hate about her even though she didn't do anything wrong.
- I'll be strong even though my life gets a little harder everyday.
