Sometimes we forget the small things and focusing too much on the big stuff. Small things are just as important, and we often took it for granted.
Take oxygen, for example.
It's there, surrounding us. We need it so we can breathe. Without oxygen... Well, we're pretty much dead. Even though we desperately need it, we're not really aware of its presence, so we are less grateful.
The same thing goes to people.
They're there when we need them. Even when we don't, they're still there. They have done so many things for us, some may seem small to us, but again, small stuff just as important. Everything matters.
We often take things or people for granted. We forget how important they are to us until they're no longer there, and it's already too late and only fills us with regret in the end.
So, before it's all too late, let's start noticing all the things we have. Be grateful because it is, or they are still there. Don't take anything for granted, just because their presence can be easily slipped right through our eyes. Remember, everything matters.
For everything you have done to me,
I will be forever grateful.
Thank you for being there.
