The last we can do is hope.

Have you seen the news lately? It was anything but good news. The increased number of Covid-19 cases, hospitals running out of bed, and people dying. Although the number of vaccine services has increased as well, and more people got their doses, the bleakness of this global pandemic doesn't seem to lessen.

Since 2020, we are forced to take cover inside our house, going out only for the essentials and urgent matters. Imagine the boredom that accumulated throughout the year. Each day, we are looking for alternatives to entertain ourselves, to help us get through the day since holidays are off.

Covid-19 has a large impact on our financial situation too. People got laid off, companies cutting salaries to save the business, local businesses closing down due to the virus outbreak. Many households are facing difficulties in paying their bills and installment. Those long-term financial goals are now put on hold.

Perhaps the last we can do other than following the health protocols religiously and get our vaccine (get one if you haven't!) is hope that somehow we can survive these dark times together, alive and well. Hope is a rare commodity these days but do it anyway.
