Fantasy / Reality

I don't believe in a happy ending. I never was. It only exists in those children's books and novels, but in this reality, they're the fantasy. It's just something that people made up, to finish the story because everyone just loves the happily ever after.

I don't believe in a happy ending. I never was. It's what my life had taught me these past twenty-two years, that they're not real. Things don't get better, things just get worse. That's how it is.

I don't believe in a happy ending. I never was. There's no such thing as a magic glass slipper, there's no prince who climbs up to the tower to save the girl, there's no rabbit hole that can transfer you to Wonderland, there's no magic carpet ride, and there's no fairy godmother that can grant you wishes.

They're lies.
And I'm in one.
